Erika Monaghan

My name is Erika Monaghan, I am a 17 year old student who attends Bethel High School. I enjoy volunteering in my community. I take pride in my academics, always studying to maintain my grades. I hold myself to a high standard academically and how I live my daily life. I am resourceful and outgoing. I have excellent analytical skills, and I enjoy learning and meeting new people.

• Volunteer at Danbury Fireman's Carnival, Danbury April 2024 — 2025 I worked in the food tent handling money and taking peoples orders, and I worked at the ticket booth putting peoples bracelets on people.
• Save The Children at Bethel High School, Bethel September 2023 — Present. At my school I am the secretary of the club "Save The Children". We help children in need all across the world, I have participated in multiple fundraisers and charities to raise money. I have participated in a baking fundraiser, sending cards out to children suffering from cancer, and made bracelets to send out to children. All of the money made from these projects is sent out directly to the organization "Save The Children" where they send the money out to the children in need.
• Bethel Winter Guard at Bethel November 2020 — November 2023 I did Winter Guard for around four years. I participated in fundraisers to help support our team. I did competitions at high schools all around Connecticut and out of Connecticut. This helped me to gain great teamwork skills.
