Senior Design Project
Co-lead a team to design and manufacture a fully 3-D printed, 1:1 scale telescopic wing UAV using various CAD software's and simulation software's such as solidworks and Ansys.
Performed fluid simulations on a symmetric airfoil using ANSYS to analyze and determine the optimal angle of attack for the optimal value of lift-to-drag ratio which in this project were 18 degrees and 8.46, respectively.
Using a PID motor controller program called Robotclaw to control and dispense power to DC motors in order to make the telescopic wings function with a cable driven system
