My two passions are disciple-making, specifically in the area of family-oriented ministry and missions. I have been trained in expository preaching and teaching, and I have used that training to serve on the foreign mission field full time, as well as in local churches in the United States. These two passions of mine involve training people of all ages in the Word of God, helping them learn the joy of discovering Truth for themselves. I desire to preach the Gospel to the lost and help believers grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ so that together we can be fruitful for the Kingdom of heaven and have an impact in the lives of multi generations. My spiritual gifting is in the area pastor-teacher. I enjoy serving according to my gifts and talents, which means teaching people the Word of God systematically through the inductive teaching method and challenging them to apply what they have learned in practical, everyday situations. I have served as a youth minister, pastor, associate pastor, discipleship pastor, children/families pastor, church planter, and pastor of education for the past twenty plus years, forming disciples who serve the Lord in their public schools, college campuses, families, and workplaces. For over 10 years I was mentored and trained by Mia and Costel Oglice as well as by Vasile Filat, all of Precept Ministries Eurasia. I want to mentor others, teaching them how to live a life that will leave a lasting legacy for the generations to come and produce much fruit for the Kingdom of heaven.
I was raised in a Methodist church and was never really confronted with the need of repentance and being born again until I was 18 years old. I joined the church when I was 13 but never repented and was not born again. I faced the fact that I was a sinner at the age of 18 once I began to study the Bible for the first time in my life. I repented, asked for forgiveness of my sins, and was born again through the presence of the Holy Spirit entering into my life. I began the process of discipleship and have grown in my faith on a daily basis.
