Utilized shop machinery, equipment and powered hand tools to fabricate precision parts made of stainless, aluminum and mild steel. Maintaining critical blue print tolerances , specific finishing and learning machine shop duties was essential, either on my own or as a team effort to ensure the project got completed on schedule. Depending on the project, I used the TIG , MIG and stick welding process and also brazed. I was also involved in the installation of certain jobs requiring a “on site “ skill set and adhering to working safely in unfamiliar environments.

Operated a mobile welding truck servicing multiple mining and quarry locations in various states. My job duties included maintenance and repair of crusher, conveyor, stacker and most all of the plant equipment. I’m well trained in MSHA and OSHA safety procedures , especially lock out-tag out and PPE. Good communication skills and maintaining my equipment has served me well.

Welding, repairs and maintenance of all township equipment and machinery. From welding in new garbage truck wear plate to assisting in hydraulic ram change outs, keeping the equipment on the road was vital. Salt spreaders, brine distribution and plow equipment repairs during a storm sometimes demanded a double shift. You learn to just get it done and move on to what’s next.
