Volunteer Teacher Sep. 2012- Nov. 2012

Cross-Cultural Solutions

I served as a temporary teacher for a village school in Moshi, Tanzania. I was responsible for creating and implementing an educational structure for a class of ages 9-18. Our focus was maintaining the information they had already been taught throughout the year while adding in additional practices for when their permanent teacher was established. I taught in English and Swahili.


Volunteer Ombudsman Feb. 2020- May 2021

I was a liaison for the USS Stethem DDG 63. I served as the connect between service members and their families to the Commanding Officer, Executive Officer and Command Master Chief. I provided detail information to answer as many questions as possible in varying topics. I served as a mandatory reporter of any form of abuse, neglect or suicide risks.
