Law Enforcement Commentator
Freelance
01.2022 - Current
I have made over 50 appearances on major network television, internet and radio stations as a freelance law enforcement commentator based upon my extensive background working as an FBI Agent and Supervisor in the Counterintelligence, Counterterrorism, and Criminal Divisions as well as a New Jersey Police Officer. I have delivered important facts concerning law enforcement topics of the day to inform the public. I work thoroughly with the producers and anchors to provide clear concise information.
I was selected by five different national news organizations in January 2023 to assist in covering the arrest of retired New York Office Special Agent in Charge Charles McGonigal.
I was most recently selected by a national internet news organization and radio show to discuss the facts of many marine mammals perishing on New Jersey beaches since December 2022 and the effects of offshore wind turbines on the ocean environment.
I was specifically chosen over several other FBI freelance commentators as a result of my extensive law enforcement background to give facts on recent FBI predicaments which had appeared on major news channels and in print news.
Sports Team Travel Safety and Security Specialist
Harlem Globetrotters / Contract Self Employed
02.2023 - 03.2023
I was selected over several other individuals to conduct risk and threat assessments and determination of security at 25 sports arenas where the Harlem Globetrotters were to play. These included the Barclay's Center Brooklyn, NY - Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, PA - Prudential Center, Newark, NJ - and State Farm Arena, Atlanta, GA to name a few.
I was tasked with conducting team hotel threat assessments. This included 42 threat assessments for team bus stop ingress and egress locations.
I was the forefront liaison with sports arena event and security managers, third party security managers and local law enforcement. I thoroughly examined layouts of each arena, walking every inch several times searching for and frequently finding vulnerabilities which needed immediate attention. Player and staff protection is always top priority and I would not permit them to enter until vulnerabilities were promptly addressed.
I examined arena emergency response and shelter in place protocols as well as medical and fire response and availability in those buildings. I established the Harlem Globetrotters locker as a team shelter in place room at each arena and ensured each player from both teams and staff professionals were familiar with directions to that location.
My thorough examination of these venues also included information on arena service personnel screening and vetting. Access control was priority and locker room hallways were sealed off by security personnel and only escorted individuals with a need were permitted into those zones. Active barriers were also examined and eliminated should the need have arisen.
I have had the opportunity through the FBI to work the World Series, Super Bowl, US Open Golf and US Open Tennis, I used the expert training I received from the FBI and CIA during my work with the Harlem Globetrotters to search for any suspicious or dubious individuals within the crowded stands. I concentrated on the player benches and stationed extra security behind the bench to prevent an incursion.
