I have 13 years of administrative experience, including customer relations, data entry, reception, office management and legal document processing. After working at the pharmaceutical company, I decided to switch to the legal profession, wherein I could utilize my writing, editing and communication skills learned at the university. I ended up marrying one of the lawyers at the office and went on to have two beautiful children.
In 2015, my husband unexpectedly passed away. I was left in charge of a thriving personal injury lawfirm with over 75 active clients. I single-handedly created a plan as the Administrator of the Estate and Office Manager to successfully secure a Law Practice Administrator to transfer my late husband's law practice. I drafted correspondence and legal documents to all active clients and trained new staff under the new lawyer.
After my husband passed away, I focused my attention on our two small children. One was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 7 and the other was dealing with PTSD from the sudden death of his father. Luckily, we have been receiving death benefits for the past 10 years and I have not needed to work. This has allowed me to focus on rebuilding my family's mental health and wellness, which is of upmost importance after such a hard loss of a loved one.
The time off has allowed me to successfully implement a medical plan for my child's diabetes and learn the ins and outs of the disease. We have attended multiple conferences, camps and classes and together we manage her diabetes successfully. Further, I went back to school to become a licensed cosmetologist, specializing in color and hair extensions. I have also gone back to school to become a certified health practitioner, wherein I have learned the root causes of many diseases, testing via noninvasive lab work and implementing health plans to fix the underlying health issues. I have also run a successful makeup sales business and online resale business over the years for fun.
As indicated, I enjoy a multitude of different things. I have a passion for people and helping to make them feel good. I enjoy talking to people and learning about them. I also thrive in helping people, whether it be listening and offering advice, doing their hair or makeup or helping them with fatigue or feeling of unwell. People are my passion and I love to help.
After the past 10 years since my late husband's passing, I am now ready and eager to get back to administrative work, part-time in a remote setting, wherein I can implement my passion for customer relations, data entry, typing and administrative services. I enjoy being part of a team, but also thrive in an individual setting.
I look forward to being a successful member of your company!
