McKemie Case Management
I shadowed Ms. McKemie, a Catastrophic Case Manager, as she went to her patients' doctor appointments. I learned the legal aspects, insurance processes, and the patient-provider relationships a Case Manager has to navigate. As a Case Manager you are the patient's advocate and I got to see firsthand the incredible impact Ms. McKemie had on her patients' lives and also their families.
