The common goal throughout its existence is to improve and measure student performance in some vital areas within the Wyoming Valley West High School. Developed a common idea and mission statement for the high school and created objectives that could be measured over a certain time period that would increase student performance. These objectives covered three areas: increasing test scores, more proficient scores on the graduation project, and increasing the use of technology in the classroom. I served on the committee, implementing action plans for annual reviews until we come up for accreditation in 2007.
  • Technology Action Plan Committee Chairperson, Accreditation for Growth/Middle States Evaluation, Wyoming Valley West High School, Plymouth, 2001, 2007, Served for four years on the technology action planning team which is part of the Middle States Evaluation. Served as chairperson for this committee 2006-2007. This committee oversees the third objective that the planning team created as part of Wyoming Valley West’s goals on how to improve student performance. The technology objective is a non-accredited objective which means it is an objective that will improve the school overall, but not have to show an increase in student performance. It is an objective that does not have to be measured in order to become accredited.
