While making the tournament and playing in it, but not not actually clenching the title at the Tennis NCAA Sweet 16 in the year 2000 seems like a lifetime ago, I still hold the experience close to my heart. Competing in the NCAA sweet 16 when I was just 18 years old changed my life. I may not have realized it then, but that special time in Malibu not only helped develop, but cultivate, bake, and truly remind me of my passion for travel, education, culture, the written word, and the overall human experience.
I say "remind", because I have always been a traveler, a seeker, one who truly lives for adventure and passion. I was born in Saudi Arabia, spent most of my elementary school years in Australia and finally settled in Atlanta, GA, where I finished high school. After University, I traveled around Europe and South East Asia and came to understand not only the importance of education, but how fortunate I had been. Working as a coach and educator for the past 15 years have been a joy and I cannot wait to see what the future holds.
