
Started at Safeway in 1996 as a Courtesy Clerk. I was promoted to checker 8 months later. I have worked in several areas of the store over the years. I have also helped out in other stores. For the last 6 years I have been the head RIC at my store. I oversee a small crew, maintain the gold standard for Safeway along with the daily duties. I also write a weekly schedule for me and my crew.
1. Provide customer service as currently defined by the employer within the scope of the position and within company policy.
2. Responsible for maintaining overall pice integrity within the store.
3. Ensure accuracy of pricing and notify managers of any discrepancies
5. Update prices daily in the system so they ring correctly at checkout , as well as update physical labels and signs.
6. Ensure all prices are changed according plan on a daily, weekly or monthly basis
