Kindergarten Para (7/2023-current)
Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the traditional kindergarten class including but not limited to instituting behavior management systems and consistently maintaining daily token boards for specific students, responsible for daily communications from the school to home including providing daily behavior charts, leading my own reading small groups using the Heggerty Curriculum building phonemic awareness, creating all anchor charts, bulletin boards, and door decor for the classroom, facilitating writing lessons as a whole group
MOID Self-Contained Classroom Para (7/2021- 5/2023)
Assisted in the day-to-day operations of the special education MOID class including but not limited to leading class warm-up/carpet community time, facilitated school/class-to-home communications, assisted with all adaptive services, included and assisted students in peer group activities, collected and reported weekly data on students per their IEP, attended field trips and Special Olympics events, led small groups in reading and writing, taught life skills
Physical Education Para (1/2021-5/2021)
Led the day to day operations of the physical education classes in person while the physical education coach led remotely during the Covid pandemic including setting up equipment to go with daily lessons for all grade levels, keeping gym operating while under Covid guidelines, assisted with participation grades, communicated with parents and students of the coach's plans, kept coach updated of student’s needs, behaviors and activities
Special Education Para (4/2018-1/2021)
Pushed into kindergarten and 5th-grade classes to assist students with required special education services and collected data, assisted the homeroom teacher with the current lessons, created anchor charts for homeroom and special education teachers, pulled special education students out for remedial math lessons as a whole group
