Through my work, I was able to start my own business in my home in Brazil. I have more self-confidence, but I am aware that I do not know how to do everything in sewing, but I am willing to learn what I do not know.
The tasks I performed in my most recent job were: hemming, sewing embroidery onto uniforms, shortening or lengthening blazer sleeves, sewing braids onto sleeves, adding pockets to coats when necessary, replacing trouser fastenings, and altering waistbands and trouser legs Note: I did not work constantly on a single task, but performed a variety of tasks I know how to work with industrial machines: straight stitch, overlock, blind stitch, interlock What I don't know, I am willing to learn I do my work carefully and love sewing
I worked for 11 years at Dependable Cleaners as a shirt presser and also helped with other tasks. Sometimes I worked in sewing when necessary.
I speak Portuguese (Brazilian), I speak a little English (I am still studying English online), I speak a little Spanish and I understand it.
