Summary

  • Adept at leading diverse teams to exceed production targets at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast, I excel in team management and problem-solving. By fostering collaboration and implementing innovative solutions, I've driven significant performance improvements, mentoring staff and ensuring quality standards are surpassed with efficiency. I am Familiar with CPK versus PPK. I am familiar with TAKT Time, Lead Time, Cycle Time and have some understanding of it. I utilize it daily while conducting PCC Meetings and debriefing upper management. I understand how O&A work can adversely affect TAKT time and the Cycle Time of Aircraft or Components .
  • I possess and exercise an extensive working knowledge of Concerto (Critical Chain Project Management) daily by updating, identifying barriers, i.e. E&E, parts requirements, NDI requirements, and Engineering, and even Program Office. I relay all pertinent information daily in the PCC meetings for the 623 division: in person and on Teams while working closely with the Program Manager, General Foreman Production Specialist, Engineering and others. I have been the key to the success of the shop achieving and maintaining a gold score of compliance for Concerto updates. I work daily with Full Kit Manager and Task Manager to keep up in real time with engineering, parts requirements. I track Time standards, so they are met, and work keeps moving. I look in advance at the templates for upcoming work and suggested dates to prepare ahead of time for it and to make sure any needed support is aware to keep from having any unneeded barriers arise. I work daily with spread sheets in Excel , Word and One Note. I aided in the set up of the template pertaining to the new Super Hornet Pylon work load and required tasks for the flow of the work.
  • I have been a part of multiple Deck Scrubs in the 623 Division for the Component wing shop and also The Super Hornet Pylons. I aided in correction corrected time standards added to work orders along with E&E, QA, IET, Program analyst and Management which was used to establish capability. I have also brought attention to O&A work that was not previously taking into consideration for said standards and having proper work orders written which will aid in establishing full capability.
  • i use Concerto daily to track actual times of components to ensure TAKT times are met.
  • Since arriving in the 62335 Division Shop, I have implemented cross training of WG-8’s and WG 10’s with F18 Inner and Outer Wings. Which in turn, by doing so, these efforts have helped the shop in a couple of areas. The First, I have been able to raise the production of the shop and the wings it produces. The Second, by helping all trades in the shop it has decreased the DWO’s in the shop while turning out Quality work to the warfighter. My cross training of the artisans also aides in keeping single point failures out of the shop which is extremely important. It adverely affects the Shops CPK and TAKT times creating better movement over all.
  • Continuous Process Improvement - is improving the effectiveness of production organizations, production support organizations, and / or administrative support organizations utilizing a variety of CPI qualitative and / or quantitative methods as in (Lean, Six Sigma, 5s, Theory of Constraints, etc.) in which i use and apply in and at the shop level daily to help aid in our proficiency.
  • I have gotten new tools implemented to the shop boxes that are needed for the artisans to do their jobs easier, that alone has help increase production. Since I have arrived the shop is now ahead by approximately 2 years and climbing. I know how to file Missing Tool Reports (MTR), I am also familiar with ERARs, and know how to access INTRA 1 then going through DMWF. I am familiar with CMPRO.

  • I am currently Yellow Belt Trained and on current waiting list for Green Belt Training.
  • I also work with PS and Process Engineers to order any special tools we need to complete jobs as well. I have used the DISA EAC Audio Conference System for PCC Meetings due to Covid 19. The Dispatch Report breaks down issues and is easy to read because it is color coded, i.e. Gold is for Golden Tickets, RED Shop is for IPG’s, BlUE Shop is for BB’s, and YELLOW WO# = WO with multiple OPN’s. It also has an order in which they are looked at which is 1. GOLDEN TICKETS 2. IPG’s 3. BB’s 4. Aged WHIP. The report shows Delay Codes and the amount of days WO’s are delayed. I have had training in the areas of all the above reports and been through the PCC Meetings for the Delays and Elevated Tasks and learned firsthand at what it takes to close them and bring them back into Compliance and have been successful at doing so.
  • I have also completed several deck scrubs of the Task List for Concerto and work orders pertaining to Outer and Inner PM-JX- XC- FE wings with E&E, P&E, Program Manager, General Foreman, QA and the IET’s so Concerto is more accurate in showing the actual work in the shop and the work orders are more complete with accurate time standards. I have worked complexed Val/Ver Jobs such as Portable Tooling Fixtures for Inner Wings to complete Flap Hinge changes along with AYC-1536 Closure Rib change.
  • I have worked with shop PC’s (Production Controllers) and PS’s (Production Specialists) to overcome bottlenecks and material shortages to prevent delays and inefficiency. Iam well versed and have written REI’s if required. I.E. I was working a TEI on a Super Hornet Pylon and new there would be an automatically needed follow up that no one had taken into consideration for removal of Hi-Loks to remove corrosion in structure and i immediately got on it to keep a bottle neck from happening and had it submitted while working current TEI.
  • Not only am I an Airframe and Power Plant Certified Technician I have an Understanding of Pnuedraulics / Hydraulics, Flight Controls, Electrical and Composite.
