Ensure students receive academic and career advising comparable to that of non-incarcerated participants. Provide participants and/or DPS&C with unofficial transcripts after each semester. Supply routine and as-needed documentation to DPS&C staff and other relevant personnel regarding each student's progress. Deliver an annual report summarizing program performance and outcomes. Coordinate room scheduling with the DPS&C site contact prior to enrollment. Support and monitor instructions from the Institution to ensure appropriate communication and interaction with students. Coordinate with DPS&C staff on additional needs related to approved programs. Assist and support the implementation of contingency plans as needed. Manage course call-outs, required escorting, and security measures related to student attendance. Serve as the liaison for Delgado's Workforce Development Department by developing new certifications and workforce training programs to meet specific needs. Establish working practices and relationships with industry partners and stakeholders. Identify grant funding opportunities, assist with grant proposal development, and oversee all aspects of grant management. Supervise and evaluate assigned staff. Aid in developing marketing and outreach programs and initiatives for Workforce Development. Provide leadership and oversight for workforce re-entry programs and initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Vice Chancellor for Workforce Development.
