As a mentor I help teachers on their journey to clearing their teaching credential. My responsibilities include meeting weekly with the candidates and assuring that they feel supported on this journey. I assist them to become independent, competent and effectively in their approach to teaching through the use of critical thinking questions, discussions after trainings, and by connecting their goals to the standards. I also help them stay on track of the workload and assignments that are due.

• Organized after-school tutoring sessions for struggling students, providing additional support to enhance their language skills.
• Implemented a variety of assessment tools to evaluate student progress, informing instructional decisions based on data-driven insights.
