Ernesto Escareno

My name is Ernesto Escareno, I am a dedicated high school senior with experience balancing work, school, and community involvement. My job experience includes working in construction and lawn care during the summer and as a cook at Sonic from August 2024 to March 2025, which helped me develop responsibility, time management, and teamwork skills. During high school, i participated in school activities and clubs that taught me more leadership, discipline, and communication skills. i also volunteered as a community soccer coach from 2023 to 2026, Helping the youth by serving and showing a positive role model. I also helped my community and church through clean up services and service activities. One of my meaningful accomplishments is participating in an annual type 1 diabetes awareness walk to support other with this condition including my little brother who has Type 1 diabetes. These experiences have prepared me to succeed academically and continue making a positive impact in my community.
