 The Zweifel Lab - University of Washington Department of Psychiatry, Seattle, WA 

  • Worked under the supervision of a PhD candidate, Marcella Cline, and Dr. Larry Zweifel on the behavioral and molecular effects of a loss-of-function mutation of netrin-1 in GABA neurons
  • Performed PCR experiments to confirm that DNA samples has the correct genotypes (heterozygous DATiCres)
  • Conducted multiple mice perfusions to extract brain samples
  • Regularly performed immunohistochemistry to stain samples with antibodies and prepare them for microscopy
  • Conducted social interaction assay using Ethovision and PRISM to determine the phenotypic effects of netrin-1 mutation in mice
  • Conducted cell counting analysis pertaining to the presence of specific antibodies using ImageJ. Results from this analysis will be a primary figure in an upcoming publication

  • Data and literature analysis on the mental health landscape in Indonesia during COVID.
  • Collected data on the prevalence of mental disorders and psychiatrist-to-patient ratio in Indonesia across different socioeconomic groups.
  • Research results were compiled into pitch decks that resulted in attracting 3 psychologists' networks/clinics in Indonesia.
  • Primary liaison to an Indonesian NGO responsible for fighting child trafficking (Rumah Faye) that uses our service.
