  • Helped start the new Informatics department within PCHD, developing procedures for automation of data transfer both internally and between PCHD and external partners, migrating existing Covid-19 related data from the internal network drives to Snowflake, a secure cloud hosted database.
  • Collaborated with the Analytics and Data Governance department to develop the Electronic Lab Report Dashboard, converting the existing Covid-19 laboratory testing report from an Excel sheet to an automated, interactive PowerBI dashboard, including coordinating between Pima County IT and ADHS to automate delivery of Covid-19 related data from AZDHS to PCHD.
  • Prepare ad-hoc and recurring reports for leadership and various program managers from our EHR application. Includes cleaning and preparing data with tools such as Power Query and organizing data into pivot tables and visualizations to make data more interpretable, accessible, and actionable by leadership. I currently maintain a series of productivity dashboards for the Clinical Services division and regularly pull data for reporting by the STI/HIV Prevention, Vaccine Equity, and Title X teams, among others.
  • Built ArcGIS maps for spatial analysis, including COVID cases and Social Determinants of Health indexes by census tract in Pima County.
  • Provided analytical and technical support for the development of BI solutions, including planning, design, and implementation. Authored a Data Requirements Gathering worksheet and engaged with other departments for requirements gathering to determine the best solutions for their current projects.

  • Implemented 2nd Health Information Exchange (HIE) integration and go live with Contexture, coordinating with Corporate IT and 3rd party vendors for HL7 interface build and testing. Continuously worked with Contexture to make sure the facility met all AHCCCS milestone requirements.
  • Sole on-site IT contact, manage Help Desk operations and provide end user support for 150+ users, both local and remote, including being on call 24/7 from May 2018 to May 2021.
  • Firsthand experience with full scale disaster recovery including pulling, reimaging, and redeploying 120+ computers in under 3 weeks. Working with Corporate IT, I was the on-site lead for recovery operations and worked closely with senior leadership to bring up key departments and help facility maintain continuity of patient care.
  • Worked in tandem with the Outpatient department to transition in-person services to the Zoom platform, providing no interruption in Outpatients ability to provide clinical services during the COVID pandemic.
  • Network infrastructure installation for a department expansion, including installing new Cisco Catalyst 2960 switches and adding/moving data drops during site remodel. Coordinated with senior leadership to ensure IT aspects of the project were completed on time and within budget.
