  • New Jersey Science Research Symposium (2026): Awarded 3rd Place in the Behavioral & Social Sciences category; presented an independent research study examining how restricted vs. unrestricted AI use impacts student learning in high school classrooms.
  • Guinness World Record Holder (2023): Set world record for the longest line of batteries (31,204 batteries), as a part of a campaign hosted by the Recycle My Battery initiative to promote environmental sustainability.

Research Experience

  • Bioinformatics Research Intern in the Rising Researchers Program (06/24 - 08/24): Used Bioinformatics tools such as NCBI, GEO2R, and gene ontology analysis tools to investigate implications of Whipple's Disease by identifying potential biomarkers for future clinical analysis and blood tests. Published a paper & presented it at the Edison Academy Research Symposium (Oct. 2024).

  • Research Intern & Waksman Scholar at the Waksman Institute, Rutgers University Piscataway campus, New Jersey (06/25 - 07/25): Conducted laboratory analysis on duckweed samples and developed clones. Employed DNA analysis tools to sequence clones for research purposes. Published sequence data to NCBI to support scientific research initiatives.

  • Worked with my 10th grade English teacher and conducted an independent research study of 9th- and 10th-grade students to examine how restricted, unrestricted, and no ChatGPT access affected learning gains, confidence, and academic performance across four school subject classrooms. Presented my research findings at the New Jersey Science Research Symposium in April 2026 under the behavioral and social sciences category (awarded 3rd place).

Social Impact & Advocacy

Launched a global platform (2023 - current), named the Healthy Teens Initiative, to educate and empower adolescents through educational content. The project includes a website, a YouTube channel with 14.5K+ subscribers and over 120K+ total views, over 1.1M+ views on instagram, as well as other active social media profiles. Pioneered a podcast series featuring 28 physicians & healthcare experts from a range of medical fields such as Radiation Oncology, Addiction Medicine, Allergy & Immunology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Dentistry, Anesthesiology, and more.

  • Dr. Rajendra Patel's Cardiology Clinic - Parlin, New Jersey (06/24 - current): Observed 200+ hours of patient consultations & cardiovascular treatments and diagnoses.
  • A1 Dental - Kendall Park, New Jersey (12/25 - current): Observed 40+ hours of patient consultations & dental treatments and diagnoses.

Hospital Volunteering (05/25 - current):

  • Currently volunteering at the Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center as part of the New Brunswick RWJ Hospital in the postsurgical oncology department. Volunteered for over 100+ hours, observing nurses, assisting and engaging with patients, placing patient dinner orders, & helping with patient transport.

Volunteering Services

  • Youth Ambassador at Summer Blood Drives, New Jersey Red Cross (06/24 - current): Volunteered 100+ hours as an ambassador at blood drives and helped coordinate event planning and member recognition operations for MA-affiliated Red Cross.
  • English Tutor, ENGin, (08/23 - current): Teaching beginner and intermediate level English to students displaced by war in Ukraine and building their knowledge of English through conversational skills during weekly lessons. Have taught 4 students so far for 120+ hours.
