Measure, cur, shape wood and other materials. Construct and install building frame work, including walls, floors, and door frames. Inspect and replace damaged framework, or other structures and fixtures. Also instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers. Assist with various types of construction projects.

I worked as a deckhand would work, I shook crab traps, stacked traps, packed boxes and organized boat. I ran my own boat. Captained my own crew. I fished for blue crabs. Ran over 750 traps. It was a job itself, keeping up with the cleaning and care of all the traps. It involves a lot of work on and off the water. I did this for over 10 years. The fishing industry was very interesting.
