After graduating high school I went and got a job in the RV industry. My main interests have always been construction and auto mechanic. After graduating i really didn't know where to get start to work in either of those interests and RV was the closest job to construction that I was able to find so i just stuck with that. Then I found the opportunity to take the automotive class offered by Goodwill Industries and I decide to take it. Im a good team and am good at fallowing directions. Im always on time and take my work serious.
In this position I used gauge testers to test the mobile home units for air leaks in the gas lines and water lines. I was also required the test for electrical shorts using a hi-pot machine. Units are required to be sent out with no leaks or electrical shorts. This is more of a quality position.
Read blueprints and built exterior sidewalls according to the blueprint. These sidewalls were framed, insulated, and then paneled. Then they were taken by another group to then have them put on the mobile homes.
In this position I am required to install plumbing system like black pipe and water lines in the RV units. I am required to fallow building codes and make sure I am doing quality work.
Unpackaged and prepped the space to set and install appliances like Refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, dishwashers, and washer/dryers in the mobile homes.
