Driving around town and delivering auto parts in a timely manner brought about good recognition of the roads and back roads. Driving skills are also refined due to necessity of pulling truck into close spaces and backing out of alleys and garages. Accurate records of completed deliveries were kept and filed.

Constant physical exertion and focus needed to make sure brick and stone were properly placed and that safety was upheld especially when operating electric/fuel powered tools.
