- I developed a good rapport with my students that enabled them to communicate effectively, fostering a supportive learning environment. Managed classroom behavior effectively by establishing clear expectations, modeling appropriate conduct, and consistently enforcing established rules and consequences.
- Developed positive relationships with parents, and colleagues by maintaining open lines of communication. My professional demeanor and ethics were consistent with staff and parents. I worked closely with my team to achieve student, school, and district goals.
- I provided ample opportunities that enabled students to establish high academic and social emotional rituals, routines and expectations for themselves. Through classroom engagement and the use of interactive teaching methods, such as group projects and hands-on activities.
- Continuously pursued professional development opportunities such as workshops or conferences to stay current in educational trends. I also led professional development workshops for peers in reading and writing workshops to increase student literacy and support school reading programs.
- I participated in after school and intersession tutoring. I also coached UIL teams. Involved in extracurricular activities such as campus coordinator for the SISD Art Show. Worked in after school events like Reading Nights, Read Across America, Math/Science Nights, Harvest and Farmer’s Market events.
