- Worked Monitored 7-employee team while handling day-to-day accounting processes and financial accuracy.
- Worked as Accounting Technician from 1993 to 2000 in contract reconciliation area correcting payment posting errors by reviewing contracts, payments, previous adjustments and payment history to align payments to correct appropriations per contract. Made correcting adjustments following General Accepted Accounting Procedures. Promoted to Lead Accountant in 2000 and reviewed other team members proposed adjustments and audits along with reviewing outside contractors audits and adjustments. Prepared summary of findings and recommended any needed corrections if not accepted as accurate.
- Have not worked since then due to health issues but health is finally improving and my mind is still very active. Working with numbers and solving problems with some very large and complex contracts payment issues was both challenging and rewarding. Always something new to learn during these audits.

Additional Information
Received an Aegis award for Excellence in Teamwork working with the contractor, Accounting Office and Procurement Office for closing a large old contract that had payment and obligation errors resulting in the contract not closing upon completion. It is unusual for a civilian employee to receive this award.
