• Manages the General Studies Program including directing College Guidance, Academic and Emotional Support staff
• Hires and manages all teaching staff across the department including lead teachers and support staff
• Directs student schedules and acts as chief General Studies academic advisor during the admissions process with feeder schools across Los Angeles
• Plans and executes cultural programming related to American Cultural Holidays such as Presidents' Day, Veterans' Day and 9/11
• Communicates effectively with students, parents and teachers to facilitate successful academic functioning of the school
• Manages the budget of the General Studies Department

• Created the schools' first full time Student Support Department and school wide system for Student Learning Accommodations
• Created plans for over 50 students every year for four years including individual follow ups.
• Championed options for diverse learners at the school and ensured the seamless integration of student accommodations into both the Judaic and General Studies Departments
• Served as an academic advisor in the Admissions Process
• Acted as a liaison between administration, students and teachers for all matters related to IEPs and Neuropsychological testing as it pertained to the educational approach of faculty and staff towards diverse learners
• Spearheaded innovative approaches to resource allocation and strategic planning for the Student Support department

Created a brand new General Studies Department while the school went through an administrative and fiscal overhaul

• Managed all staffing and Guidance programming including Mental Health support, College and Academic Guidance for over 120 students over 5 years.
• Implemented Title I, II and IV programming
• Facilitated successful communication between parents, students and administration

• Taught Humanities classes across 9 - 12th grades for three years
• Taught English, US and World History, US Government / Economics as well as Holocaust Studies
