Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special is camp catered toward children who are battling cancer and physical disabilities. I have been privileged to be apart of Chai Lifeline and be a counselor in this unique and special camp. My responsibilities in camp included:

• Analyzed overall performance of my camper and recommended adjustments to care plan goals, supporting individual progression.
• Supported daily hygiene needs of my campers by assisting with bathing, dressing, and personal grooming.
• Entrusted to handle confidential and sensitive situations in professional matter.

My Extended Family is an organization that gives support to families and especially the children coming from single parent homes. I volunteered in this organization for three years and have helped in the following ways:

• Balanced effective communication with confidentiality for privacy when communicating with children and families.
• Spoke to social workers and the organization leaders to further enhance the childs success.
• Ran activities for after school functions for the children.
• Did any school related homework that a child couldn't complete on her own or at home.
