Ethan Bean is currently a Sophomore, Chemical Engineering student at the University of Pittsburgh.
He is an accomplished highschool graduate who achieved academic and athletic success. He completed highschool with a 3.87 GPA and as a Magna Cum Laude recipient. Additionally, He was an accomplished 4 year varsity wrestler. He is now a member of the University of Pittsburgh's club wrestling team.
Ethan has garnered several relevant work and research experiences as an undergraduate. He is a member of SOAR (Society of Astronautics and Rocketry) where he worked with the propulsion team on a liquid fueled rocket. Additionally he was also able to tour the Pittsburgh Astrobotic facility to attend a CDR meeting for the team's Rocket. He is also involved in Liquid Metal Catalysis Research under Professor Goetz Vesser. As a undergraduate researcher, Ethan was responsible for developing a method of uniform bismuth, nano-particle synthesis. Ethan also interned at Caltech Manufacturing, where he gained relevant experience in precision machining as well as production line development.
In Ethan's Personal life he is a Dog Trainer and Shift Manager at Cappuccino Dog Training INC. Ethan Holds his own clients for personal training as well as assisting senior trainers in protection and bite work. He is proficient in Onshape, Solidworks, Matlab, and C. He is also capable of Mass and energy balances along with applied thermochemistry. Ethan has been awarded several honors as a highschool wrestler, including; the Suburban One all League First Team Wrestling award.
