Experienced in geologic fieldwork and using data collected in the field to produce quality interpretations of the structure and stratigraphy of field areas. Strong interest in economic geology, especially as it pertains to epithermal and Carlin-type gold deposits. Experience identifying ore mineraks and using mineral assemblage along with rock texture to make inferences about deposit type, fluid conditions and depositional mechanisms through a class focusing on metallic ore deposits. Eager to learn more about these deposits through experience, and to hone the skills necessary to be a valuable asset on a mine site. Personal connection to mining in Nevada, as it is an industry in which my family has worked and because I have spent a lot of time in Nevada towns supported by mining. My goal is to gain all of the knowledge that I can about these deposits, become proficient in applying that knowledge, and ultimately work in exploration.
