  • Worked closely with Product Managers and UX, as part of a team of developers, to build Velocity’s next generation, EHS platform, Accelerate, as a series of React-based microservices. Starting from Figma mockups and developing them all the way to Production release.
  • Headed a small team of developers to build and deliver the new Materiality and Performance Metrics applications. These were the first React-based, web applications to be delivered and purchased on the Accelerate platform and the first applications to utilize the new GraphQL-based API gateway.
  • Collaborated with the UI Team Lead to implement unit testing, using vitest and Jest, across 6 microservices in the Accelerate UI, improving test coverage and stability.
  • Selected to update the style on Velocity’s legacy EHS platform (V5) to bring it in line with the Accelerate design system, ensuring a consistent user experience across new and legacy applications.
  • Developed a file service that allowed users to upload files to S3 and then integrated that service with the UI to allow downloading those files from anywhere on the Accelerate platform.
  • Worked as part of a team to develop a web application that allowed users to calculate and track their GHG(green house gas) emissions based on what kind of energy their business is utilizing.
