  • Manage mainline fiber optic projects. Manage all company employees and subcontractors. In charge of all production of the projects, scheduling crews, placing crews where work needs to be done, directing subcontractors and hiring all new employees. Ensure all work is done properly, safely and in a productive manner. Manage the costs of the projects, work with the state, county and cities where the projects are to ensure that all permits are correct and all work being done is in compliance with their rules and laws. Work with the engineering company to ensure all prints are correct so that placement can be done correctly. Submit all production and subcontractor invoices for billing, enter all units into an excel tab sheet so that they can be billed and create asbuilds for the customer so they know where their product is placed. Look over prospective new projects and help with the bidding process. Conduct safety meetings with all crews to ensure a good safety culture is in place. Schedule and manage all repairs and maintenance of equipment on the projects and take care of all trucking and DOT related items such as hauling equipment to other states and or around the job and ensuring all vehicles and drivers are DOT compliant.
