I love to work hard and be a part of my community, and am especially a fan of routine and service work such as yard or janitorial work which i have some experience in. Woodworking or other craftsmanship positions are something I aspire to do, whether learning at home or on the job, but I'm certainly up for whatever comes my way.

Work History

Fulfillment Associate

Lowe's Home Improvement
  • From September 27th 2023 to March 13th 2024 I worked at the Lowe's on 1335 S 300 W, Salt Lake City, where it was my job to fill online orders in a timely manner, staging all items in the correct locations, and getting them to customers as soon as possible
  • This often involved the use of power equipment, working as a tightly knit team, good time management and organization, and quick problem solving skills to both locate or retrieve items, and to load large or unwieldy items into/onto the customers' vehicles
  • I learned a great deal working at Lowe's and now hope to use my skills for whatever's next.

Volunteer Farm Hand Position

Janet Grant
  • Starting August 6th I chose to volunteer on the farm of Janet Grant between Tabiona and Duchesne, having found her through the WWOOF program
  • There, I did anything from building or fixing fences, to caring for animals, to helping move a shed and various other projects
  • I'm very thankful to have had the opportunity to do so, and loved being able to help some of the people in the community as well
  • While there I also worked for someone in Tabiona vacuuming, sanding, and painting to get their new home ready for winter
  • Often, the job required that I biked 14 miles to reach the work site, but it was well worth it.

Volunteer Janitorial Position

Ronald McDonald House Charities
  • At RMHC I chose to volunteer as a part of my senior year project for highschool, and there I helped clean anywhere in the building that was needed
  • Mainly, I wiped down lots of the frequently used rooms, vacuumed all of the hallways, and ensured that the kitchen area was especially well taken care of for many of the patients staying at RMHC with compromised immune systems
  • I spent roughly 4 hours there after school for a few weeks, and loved all of my time there.
