  • Working on the X-ray Acoustic Computed Tomography project to develop a portable CT machine
  • Work directly with PhD student on XACT technology, in order to further the Lab's research on various types of alternative Medical Imaging
  • Project preforms scans using Ultrasound waves created by X-rays in order to reconstruct a 3D image of subject
  • Will be submitting proposal to UCI's Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program Symposium to try and obtain funding

EEG Cap Fitting Device

  • Researched, designed, and built a device that allows for consistent measurements when doing EEG cap fittings.
  • Modeled the device in SOLIDWORKS and assembled using a combination of custom and off the shelf parts.
  • Collaborated with a team in order to create designs, order parts, and create proposals that needed to be approved by client (Dr. King).

  • Met project deadlines without sacrificing effectiveness or readability of code
  • Managed team members, inquiring about progress and offering support when needed
  • Used MATLAB to import EEG cap data, transform it into the frequency domain, and filter it to create a three-dimensional plot of the Power Spectrum. This graph was then imposed onto an image of the node locations of the cap, revealing which area of the brain was being stimulated.

Raised $5k in a week for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention, while also spreading awareness. Spread awareness through the form of statistics and referring to resources.

Plan and execute a summer camp for children whose parents have cancer, at no cost to them. Communicate with different organizations in order to make the camp happen. Started off as a camp counselor, and moved my way up to Executive role. Must fundraise $50k to make sure its free for the campers.
