Ethan Perkins

I am a dedicated 20-year-old nursing student currently in my second semester, inspired by the healthcare journeys of my family. My older brother, now in his third semester of nursing school, has been a significant motivator in my pursuit of this career. Additionally, my mother is a Registered Nurse at Tampa General Hospital, which has given me a unique insight into the field and further fueled my passion for patient care. Currently, I am gaining hands-on experience through clinical rotations at BayCare, where I am able to apply the fundamental nursing skills I've learned in the classroom. With a strong foundation in vital signs, wound care, mobility assistance, catheter management, and infection control, I am committed to continuously expanding my knowledge and skills. My experience thus far has reinforced my passion for nursing, and I am eager to contribute meaningfully to patient care, while also continuing my education and training.
