From my earliest steps, soccer has been a fundamental part of my identity, growing up in a family where "sports", but mainly soccer was a huge part of everything we did. Under the guidance of Bernie James at Crossfire, I grew my youth career, experiencing both the thrill of victory in tournaments like the Man City Cup and Surf Cup and the valuable lessons learned during international competitions in Spain and Mexico playing in the DA. One highlight of my soccer journey occurred when I won national title in my concluding year, to cap off my youth career (XF first ECNL Title). Then, as a player for the UNLV Men's Soccer Program, where we made it to the WAC tournament final. And recently in the summers, playing for my Club's NPSL summer team among Seattle U, UW, SMU, all D1 college players. As well as USL 2 for the Tacoma Stars and a little MASL as well.
Putting in the day to day work with Athletic, growing as a player. Got to play in a friendly against some old teammates vs Tacoma Defiance (Seattle Sounders 2)
Learning from some of the OG’s this game has created. Under Nick Perrera in USL 2 season, and Adam Becker through the indoor season. This speaks for itself as just a great opportunity I was blessed to be apart of.
Getting the opportunity to work with the next generation and give back what gave so much to me has been something in itself. Working and learning the ways under the XF Staff, and my mentor Bernie James. Winning a few local area tournaments with the youngest group at the club. This in itself has helped me grow as a soccer player tremendously. Learning patience and how to express soccer idea’s.
