  • Received training on how to respond to or conduct law enforcement activity in many situations, such as an active shooter, domestic incidents, noise complaints, DUIs, including administering field sobriety tests, stopping vehicles for traffic violations, directing traffic, and disorderly conduct.
  • Also received training on how to properly operate and deploy a Taser, as well as pepper spray.
  • From September 2022 to July 2023, deployed to Bahrain to conduct customs for other service members returning to the United States.
  • Cleared containers, bags, firearms, vehicles, and personnel. Was involved in seizing illegal items, such as ammunition, alcohol, aerosol cans, and others.
  • While overseas, I assisted in over 42 missions that cleared 1,500 personnel, seized over 4,300 illegal items from entering the country, and inspected over 8.3 billion dollars in equipment.
  • The NCOIC in Bahrain expressed a demand for excellence in physical fitness. During the nine months there, he placed myself in charge for running physical fitness workouts to ensure our readiness.
  • During that time, there were 25 group workout sessions totaling 78 man hours. This helped the group average a score of 546/600 possible points. This was the best average out of any of the seven countries, with soldiers from our unit.
  • Was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for exceptional service while serving as a customs agent in Bahrain in support of Operation Spartan Shield and Operation Inherent Resolve.
