Assists Dr. Brad Dabbert of the Natural Resource Management department of Texas Tech University with project regarding the influence of environmental factors on the population dynamics of Northern Bobwhite Quail in the rolling plains of Texas. Research duties include: Locating birds with the use of VHF Telemetry and recording data with GIS software, Avian point counts, quail trapping, mammal trapping, scent station and game camera utilization, Avian radio collaring/banding, atv/vehicle upkeep. Non-field related duties include: Animal husbandry, grounds upkeep/maintenance, data processing and management, and janitorial duties.
