As an OJT trainer, it is very important to be well-equipped with the proper knowledge and experience to train new operators. Through countless hours of studying the chemical processes in my assigned area and gaining firsthand experience with our operations in Building 9212, I have developed the knowledge and skills necessary to meet and exceed Company expectations.
Work History
Chemical Operator (9212)
2 Years 7 Months- Operate and monitor chemical processes in chemical recovery
- Perform daily rounds/surveillances
- Move/handle hazardous material
- Adhere to stringent security requirements
- Familiar with TSR,CSR,FHA, and JHA controls specifically in B-1 wing and C wing
- Help train new operators on processes and associated requirements
- Certified on all processes in B-1 wing, Calciner furnace, and the AEC scrubber
- Develop/organize personal notes and training aids to help myself and coworkers to be efficient at each task we are asked to complete
- Perform tasks involving material tracking using batch cards,scanners, and associated paper work
- Played a key role in the success of the calciner readiness assessment.

- Crosscheck lab data with instrumentation field readings to ensure proper calibration in instruments.
- Manually valve equipment to start-up, shut-down, or change operation.
- Write work permits.
