Critical Facilities Technicians are responsible for ensuring that all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within their assigned data center is operating per the requirements of the Director of Critical Facilities. This role serves as day-to-day on-site physical support following the leadership of the Supervisor of Critical Facility Operations.


Primary duties include but not limited to:


  • Supports the critical facility operations of a data center environment
  • Accepted direct accountability for the management and operations, preventative maintenance program implementation, and life-cycle management of critical facility assets associated with a data center environment, including, but not limited to: HVAC, UPS, PDU, transformers, and generators
  • Reports Anomalies or discrepancies are reported to the Director of Critical Facilities immediately upon determination
  • Adheres to preventative maintenance schedules, corrective maintenance actions, and break-fix incident response for all critical facility related systems
