Welding subweldments for comercial ovens using TIG on stainless steel

• Responsible for managing work orders, specialize in detail work, TIG weld stainless steel sheet metal, weld in flat/vertical/overhead positions, well versed in radius welding, occasionally build frames using MIG, metal finish products using grinders and buffers for a polished finish

• Responsible for fabricating frames for conveyor belts, use measurements from blueprint to lay out the frames fit up, grind/cut off slag, debur, rust, and or slag to prep material, occasionally plasma cut to custom cut measurements for frames, grind or bevel material for proper fit up for welding, weld in flat/vertical/overhead positions, use overhead crane to move or transport frames

• Responsible for upgrading aluminum steel castings, grind clean to repair cracks, pin holes, corrosion, or porosity that’s detected by a dye penetrate, TIG weld aluminum casting to fill and repair area that has been grinded, weld in flat/vertical/overhead positions if needed, grind weld flush using grinder and buffers to polish casting
