Currently a full-time Mass Media Production student and freelance journalist for Korean Phila Times, I specialize in U.S.-Asia relations, immigration policy, and national security. Through in-depth reporting, exclusive interviews, and policy analysis, I provide insights into legislation, security issues, and the role of Asian American leadership in U.S. politics.
My work includes interviewing policymakers such as Senator Andy Kim on U.S.-South Korea-Japan relations and Former Acting U.S. Labor Secretary Julie Su on economic trends. I have covered both local and federal political developments, analyzing their impact on the Korean American community.
Beyond political journalism, I have experience in policy communication and media strategy, working with my university’s administration to convey government-funded initiatives and amplify public engagement in institutional policy discussions.
With a foundation in policy research and strategic media outreach, I am committed to fact-based journalism that bridges policy and public discourse. My ultimate goal is to become a national security journalist, covering global affairs, security policies, and governance issues critical to U.S. interests.
