Accomplishments

  • Graduated Aug 2020 with a Master’s in Nursing specializing in Education.
  • Participates on the Re-Design Committee @ CVVAMC (last meeting/participation to discuss and present my project project) 9/16/2021 @ 1000. Project discussed Goal/Mission: To see AMSAs transfer calls properly to the Nursing Que. To reduce the number of non-nursing calls to the nursing que by 50% over the next 12 months. The importance of my project is to allow easier access to care. My project discussed problems, things to consider, how we can make it better. I was able to use a monthly call center report to track and monitor calls. Received feed back from AMSA staff. While working as an RN @ Dublin VA I was enrolled at Walden University I was accepted as a Member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (Sigma Alpha Pi) Honor Society in 3/30/20. I completed the leadership program requirements to become inducted. In the program I learned ways to enhance my current leadership skills. Working as RN @ Dublin VA I have learned to Practice discipline, take on more projects, took on more responsibility, developed situational awareness and continued education.
