Hardworking machine operator well-versed in keeping components running at peak levels to produce high-quality products. Comfortable working alone or with team members to identify and resolve defects. Expert approach to tackling maintenance and inspection tasks. Hands-on machine operator offering several years of experience working in manufacturing settings and operating machinery for production. Demonstrates mastery of complex mathematical concepts and gauging techniques to inspect parts and conduct measurements. Detailed individual proficient in cleaning and disassembling machines.
My primary responsibility was the assembly, testing and preparation for shipping of industrial pumps used for fluids gasses and slurries. Each application required different internal components, I was also in charge of balancing the internal discs using a manual mill.
I was involved in multiple stages of the fabrication process of frames, doors and hatches for navy ships. Cutting sheet metal precisely using hand held torch or plasma cutters, tacking and welding. In between welding stages I'd straighten the ship components using a 700 ton hydraulic pressbrake.
Operation, light programing, maintenance and calibration of CNC machines. Set up of gas mixtures for cleaner cuts depending on metal and gage and calibration of dies for multiple stage sheet metal forming and inspection of parts using precision measurement tools. I was involved in the training of new operators.
Fabrication of Fox off-road shock bodies. My job was to load shock bodies into machine square, torque them to spec, cut them to size, form the mounting eyes and valve orifice. I also made machine adjustments when needed and inspect part dimensions using precision measurement tools.
