Emerging Leaders in Nonprofit Management- PASE & City College Of NY

March 2025

To prepare the next generation of leaders, PASE and Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership at the City College of New York (Colin Powell School MPA) have partnered to relaunch Emerging Leaders in Nonprofit Management: A Course for Youth Program Professionals, a comprehensive, three-month course in nonprofit leadership and management. By investing in developing more capable leaders, we can strengthen organizations and ensure better outcomes for the youth they serve.


Family Development Credential- Accredited From The University Of Connecticut & DYCD

The FDC for Leaders is a New York State professional development training for supervisors, managers and directors developed by the National FDC Program at the University of Connecticut. The program is based on family development principles, with an emphasis on empowerment-based leadership.

The FDC for Leaders curriculum consists of 42 hours of intensive, interactive classroom study, facilitated by a certified instructor. The topic areas are as follows:
