Eva is a colorful character actor with a strong background in performing arts. She can sing, (used to) dance, loves to entertain and speaks Swedish fluently! She gained wide local recognition for her portrayal as a gossipy Lewiston 1800’s matriarch, Sally Barton Tryon, Macy Boswell the Gypsy, in Phantoms of the Opera Hall and Witch Hazel in the Marble Orchard Ghost Walks. She still works as a tour guide in Lewiston’s Marble Orchard Historic Walking Tours for school groups. Audiences of all ages love her. Recently retired with 30 years experience as Artistic Director of Lewiston Council on the Arts. Eva has extensive experience in successful event planning, implementation and public relations. During her career, she planned a wide range of successful festivals, programs and concerts (Lewiston Art Festival, Taste of Lewiston, Canadian American Human Chess Game, Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and Blue Mondays…. to name a few) and helped to highlight Lewiston’s identity as a thriving arts community.
