All responsibilities of Quality Technician and the following:

• Continued streamling laboratory processes, improving efficiency and reducing time to market for products.
• Mentored Quality Technicians, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting knowledge sharing.
• Supported micro investigation of pathogenic bacteria. Actions include but are not limited to:

*Reviewing line records, including cleanings, pumps, what

was ran before and after each product, reviewing micro results

on all products ran on the same line, and compiling results to

look for patterns/ similarities on failed products and reporting these findings to supervisor and R&D.

*Collecting and testing additional swabs.

*Compiling swab results.

*Additional air testing at locations of interest.

*Collaborating with R&D & external support.

*Preforming extensive testing on suspect products

*Testing components for contamination.

*Placed STO request with DCs and tracked receipt of FGs to ensure batch coverage.

*Collaborating with line leads and facilities to identify any dead legs, and potential causes of contamination.

• Performed microbiological verification of equipment, water, air, raw materials, intermediate, and finished products using aseptic technique.
• Released all materials found to be within specification, in a timely manner, supporting PRLS reporting.
• Performed all activities following the established procedures and accepted safety practices.
• Participated in microbiological investigations and process improvement activities.
• Created and implemented digital logbooks to streamline the documentation process. Eliminating bottle necks.
• Created and implemented a yearly testing schedules for daily, weekly, monthly, and weekend tasks to ensure compliance with Unilever standards and SOPs.
• Reviewed and updated SOPs & SWIs.
• Trained new employees on all relevant tasks in the Micro lab.
• Volunteered to take notes for audits shortly after starting with Unilever.

*Audits include but are not limited to: BRC, FDA, SMETA, ISO, RSPO, and True Source Honey.

• Teaching General Biology for major’s lecture and the corresponding lab.
• This course encompasses the chemical and physical basis of the cell, including information pertaining to the atom, bonding, macromolecules, and metabolic reactions; cell structure including membranes, cell walls, and internal organelles; energetics, respiration and Photosynthesis; genetics, molecular biology and biotechnology.
• Creating quizzes when necessary as well as make-up exams.
• Keeping students involved during lectures and labs.
• Connecting concepts from lecture to lab
• Assess students’ progress throughout the semester
• Provide feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence in students
