I am a rising Junior at Tulane University, majoring in English and minoring in Psychology. With a passion for literacy, research, creative writing, social justice, and health and wellness promotion, I spend time outside of class serving as a Certified Peer Health Educator for Tulane and as an editor for the Tulane Undergraduate Research Journal. Last summer I worked as a Classroom Director for DreamCatchers, a program designed to provide academic support for middle-schoolers who may be socioeconomically disadvantaged. As a creatively driven person, I strive to use my skills in critical thinking and analysis to assist in projects and work that are innovative and powerful.
