With a 3.9 high school GPA and enrollment in the Running Start program at Columbia Basin College, I am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. As a four-year varsity athlete and team captain for two years, I have developed strong leadership, teamwork, and time management skills that I’m eager to apply to a research environment. Over the past four years, my volunteer work with nonprofit organizations has further enhanced my communication and collaboration skills, highlighting my commitment to personal growth and contributing to my community.

Community Service & Volunteer Work:

• Organized and Coordinated Blood Drives
  Volunteer, Red Cross, Led efforts to schedule, promote, and facilitate blood drives for the local community, contributing to increased awareness and donor participation.

  Columbia Basin College, Assisted with various experiments and lab procedures, including titration, calorimetry, spectrometry, and gravimetric analysis.
  Gained hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometer, capillary tubes, scales, etc.
  Collaborated with classmates to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with lab protocols.
