• I worked with two children, both 5 years of age, in Bologna Italy during my time abroad (Fall 2022-Spring 2023).
• Taught both girls English words and rudimentary English phrases.
• Created my children's game to teach the girls English. I would explain the rules in Italian then play the games using English phrases.

My knowledge of fine wine, beers, spirits and cocktails increased significantly during my time at Goat's bar and restaurant.

• Wines: I memorized: popular wine varietals, tasting notes, countries of origin, the aeration process etc.
• Learned how to use information on a wine's body, balance and aroma to suggest good pairings of wine with the specific cuisine we offered.
• Cocktails & Martinis: Memorized the components of each signature cocktail and martini option, as well as the components of classical cocktails & martinis.
• Broadened my understanding of various types of liquor and what makes the top self brands unique in comparison with cheaper liquors.
• Served high customer volumes during special events, nights, weekends and holidays
• Learned how to upsell both the drink and food menu.
• Trained new waitstaff on proper food handling, customer service and safety procedures.
• Kept the front of house clean consistently by

bussing and resetting the tables after each customer to maintain a standard of cleanliness for guests.

• Organized the makeup, skincare and spa products to maintain the visual appeal of a beauty store.
