Provided paramedic level emergency medical care in the 911 and medical transfer setting (hospital-to-hospital).

This included administering paramedic level medications and skills to high-risk patients in a pre-hospital environment and the continuation of care and stabilization of patients being transferred between hospitals. This job requires critical thinking, communication, and collaboration to ensure that the patient is receiving appropriate and life saving care.

Provided EMT-Basic level care in a 911 and transfer setting (hospital-to-hospital). During my time at Aspirus, I provided BLS care and worked closely with an EMT-Paramedic level partner on an ambulance. I effectively preformed operational procedures to enhance team performance.

While employed, I also assisted in the emergency department of Portage Aspirus. I preformed BLS level interventions and care to assist nurses and physicians. I believe that this detail is important because it provided me with the knowledge of in hospital care.

• At Tanglewood, I aided in daily living by dressing, bathing, and toileting patients. I carried out daily household tasks like cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. Tanglewood consists of an assisted living facility and a memory care unit. In the memory care unit, I provided care to those with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Due to this I handled resident behavioral management. While working for Tanglewood, I have been trained to pass medications. This taught me how to have effective time management and how to take base-line vital signs.

• During my time at Subway, I learned to provide customer satisfaction by keeping food preparation areas clean and well-organized for maximum efficiency, performed food preparation responsibilities to meet franchise standards for quantities, speed and packaging, and assisted guest, including offering personable greetings and taking orders.
